What File Format do you need to upload your video to YouTube, SWF, or FLV?

What file format do you need to upload your video to YouTube, S.W.F. or F.L.V, file format,
SWF...?

Whats the maximum video length...?

How many frames per second are best, what’s the minimus fps, you can set it too in Camtasia Studio 4...?

YouTube accepts a wide range of video file formats such as .WMV, .AVI, .MOV, FLV and .MPG transferred from most digital cameras, camcorders, and cell phones. For more info, u can check on google.
However, Youtube does not accept SWF file. If u want to upload SWF file to youtube, I think you have to use some swf to video converter to convert swf to avi, mpeg, mov, flv, etc video format, and then upload them to youtube.

But if you upload a regular video to YouTube sometime it will failure or take a long time. So normally I use Flash Video MX Pro to convert video to FLV and upload FLV directly. You can get this software here .

And you will find it is really a funny software, it also can convert FLV to SWF .

How to convert MKV to Flash?

About MKV:

MKV, short for Matroska, is the container format. Similar with AVI known well by most of people, MKV is not a "Codec", namely, it is not a compression format. Compared with AVI, it has some advantages such as supporting "soft" subtitles (They are not encoded into the video, but can be displayed on the top, therefore can be turned off.) and newer codec including H.264/AVC, or Vorbis, or AAC. To play it, you can download and install the codec CCCP (Combined Community Codec Pack).
